Jakarta – President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) invited officials from the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) to the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, Wednesday (06/12/2019).
“This meeting was sudden. This is a routine meeting between President Joko Widodo and businessmen, “said Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry General Chairman Rosan Perkasa Roeslani in Jakarta on Wednesday (06/12/2019).
On that occasion, Rosan will be accompanied by a number of Deputy Chairpersons (WKU), including WKU for Transportation Carmelita Hartoto, WKU for International Relations Shinta Widjaja Kamdani, WKU for Organization, Membership and Regional Empowerment Anindya Bakrie, WKU Fiscal Monetary Policy, and Public Raden Pardede, and WKU for Telematics, Broadcasting and Research and Technology in Ilham Habibie.
Rosan said, at a meeting with the President, Kadin would submit a number of inputs, particularly related to the latest economic developments, both domestically and globally. On the other hand, Rosan was reluctant to comment when asking if there were any matters concerning politics that Kadin would deliver to President Jokowi.
“Absolutely not. Clearly, Kadin supports government programs. And, this is a regular meeting, “he said.
In addition to the Kadin leadership, President Jokowi also invited the Chairman of the Central Management Board (BPP) of the Indonesian Young Entrepreneurs Association (Hipmi) Bahlil Lahadalia.
