“There are two teams that are carrying out the deepening. The first deepening of the 447 people who are being held there is a common thread that organizes them to carry out the riots. Then the team also completes the filing of cases to be submitted to the prosecutor’s office and the court after that General Tito Karnavian, at Monas, Central Jakarta, Thursday (06/13/2019).
Tito said, the second team investigated the victims of the incident, both victims and officials. This team works with the National Human Rights Commission.

This team works parallel with the National Human Rights Commission, meetings have been conducted with the National Human Rights Commission to reconcile data whether the data held by the National Police is also from the National Human Rights Team, is it also have the same data, “said the National Police Chief.
“We don’t want to make it the same, but each one is different, the important thing is to have communication because the data and facts are necessary. This (the results) will be shared later by the National Police investigation team and Komnas HAM investigation,” he said.
Questioning that there is a need to establish a fact-finding joint team (TGPF), Tito said, entrusting Komnas HAM and the National Police to reveal it.

This is important because this internal element can penetrate the boundaries of the institution itself. But perhaps the weaknesses are considered protective,” Tito said.
“Therefore, we open communication with the National Human Rights Commission as well, please do it. For what is the TGPF if, if the National Human Rights Commission is an official authority established by law and not its position under the president, let alone under the Police. to the National Human Rights Commission and the investigation team to be able to penetrate into their own institutions, “he said.
