Jakarta – Former Secretary of the National Border Management Agency (BNPP) Widodo Sigit Pudjianto shared knowledge on regional development planning. This knowledge was shared through the launch of a book called the New Approach to Regional Development Planning.
Sigit admitted that he was moved to write the book to provide insight so that the wheels of regional government improved and in accordance with existing legal regulations.
“Books that are present as corrections to the implementation of planning that have been systematically not suitable, which in turn will produce work programs that are not synchronous and appropriate and not sustainable. Not limited to correcting, but this book also presents a new approach in planning, “Sigit said at the launch on Thursday (6/20/2019).
He added, even though the work and service in the world of government could be over, but the love for serving the nation’s fathers will never fade, even increase. That is what makes the book underlying.
On the same occasion, he also launched the WSP Law Firm which later will be able to become a strategic partner for local governments and investors in investing, including resolving disputes if they occur.
The birth of this Law Firm was also based on his concern for the local government which often “lost” in civil disputes in the court so that the assets diminished
“Therefore, it is expected that the utilization and management of regional assets can occur in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. For implementers, they can be protected in carrying out their duties, “Sigit said.
