Medan – Families of matchstick fire victims on Jalan Tengku Amir Hamzah, Hamlet IV, Sambirejo Village, Binjai District, Langkat Regency, North Sumatra, crowded the Medan Bhayangkara Hospital, to find out the certainty of the fate of their relatives on Friday (6/21) / 2019).
They also carried photos of relatives or family members killed in the fire. In addition, the victim’s family also carried a family card. They came to the hospital with a face full of grief.
Faisal, 38, a resident of Sambirejo, said his wife was the victim of the gas match factory fire. Faisal who came with a number of relatives was unable to resist sadness. Occasionally he embraced his relatives.
Faisal said there was no sign that he had to lose Maria, his beloved wife. He said his wife left for work as he should.
“Departing this morning at 8:30 a.m. Just shaking away from work. As usual,” said Faisal with teary eyes. Maria left one four-year-old child. Usually, their children also go to the cottage industry, but not today.
“Not because the grandmother came,” he said.
It’s been three years since Maria worked at the factory. At the factory, Maria installed a match head with dozens of other women.
“The factory has been four years,” he said.
Wahid, 63, another family admitted that he and his son-in-law went straight to the Bhayangkara Hospital in Medan because they knew that the first of four children had also become victims.
“My child worked there too and happened to be a house not far from the location where he worked,” he said.
The same thing was said, Sofian, 38, a resident whose house was not far from the scene. He also visited the Bhayangkara Hospital in Medan to see his wife and an 11-year-old child who were also victims.
“I don’t know for sure what happened, bro, when I was at home,” he said.
