Jakarta – President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) said that global economic and financial problems were the main focus of the Indonesian government at the G20 Summit in Osaka, Japan, June 28-29.
“We want to raise up, discuss the first on global economic and financial issues, especially those relating to trade and investment,” President Jokowi said while leading a limited meeting of the Working Cabinet at the Presidential Office, Jakarta, Wednesday (6/19).
The meetings included Minister of Commerce Enggartiasto Lukita, Minister of Industry Airlangga Hartarto, Minister of ESDM Ignasius Jonan, Minister of Communication and Information Rudiantara, Minister of Law and Human Rights Yasonna Laoly, Minister of State Pratikno, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs AM Fachir, and Presidential Chief of Staff Moeldoko .
In addition to raising economic and investment issues, President Jokowi will also discuss innovation measures regarding the development of the digital economy and artificial intelligence.
“The third also needs to be raised regarding the handling of the gap in the quality of infrastructure, employment, and empowerment of women in the world,” he said.
