Wearing a batik shirt, the President cordially welcomed the presence of Apindo General Chairperson Hariyadi Sukamdani, who came along with Apindo Deputy Chairperson Shinta Widjaja Kamdani, Suryadi Sasmita (Deputy General Chairperson), Chairperson of Transportation Carmelita Hartoto, and Chairperson of Livestock and Fisheries Anton J. Supit .
Previously, in the same place President Jokowi invited entrepreneurs joined in the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) and the Indonesian Young Entrepreneurs Association (Hipmi) to ask for input on concrete steps in national economic development.

Jokowi said, the government needed a lot of input, especially in terms of regulation. He said, the government is willing to revise if there are regulations that hinder economic progress and development.
“Maybe if it is necessary to issue a Government Regulation in Lieu of Law (Perppu) for example. Yes, if indeed it is necessary and indeed because the position is very important and necessary, we will make it, “said President Jokowi.
Jokowi emphasized that business people were the earliest parties invited to discuss because they were at the forefront of the national economy.
According to President Jokowi, the government wants in the next five years, the business world becomes a priority. “Do not let our investment and exports lose to Singapore. We have long lost to Malaysia, with Thailand, losing to the Philippines, the last we lost again to Vietnam, “said President Jokowi.
However, he continued, the seriousness of the government in developing the economy gave rise to optimism that Indonesia would rise. “I often say it everywhere, so we don’t lose it to Cambodia later, losing to Laos.
