Jakarta – Benny Soetrisno is deemed feasible to be the general chairman of the Indonesian Export Company Association (GPEI). Because, Benny is considered successful in holding this position.
“Benny Soetrisno is still eligible to be in the GPEI and is elected again as general chairman. Benny is an entrepreneur who understands trade and is familiar with trade issues, “Deputy General Chair of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) Shinta Kamdani said here on Tuesday (6/18/2019).
According to him, GPEI is an organization responsible for increasing exports. Indonesia needs exports as a source of economic growth. In his view, Indonesia is a large country with promising export prospects. GPEI members are export-oriented companies, so those who become chairpersons must be people who understand trade and regulation. The GPEI Chair, he said, also had to know the details of the export market and superior products that were ready to compete.
“GPEI is a large organization, so its leaders must also be proficient in trade,” he said.
Benny was appointed as the GPEI chief based on the results of the sixth GPEI national deliberation and was strengthened by a decision that had permanent legal force from the Supreme Court (MA). Benny’s position as ketum is strengthened by a decision that has a permanent legal force from MA Number 435 PK / PDT / 2018 dated 8 October 2018 jo.
