Jakarta – PT Astra Daihatsu Motor (ADM) managed to say positive sales in the domestic automotive market. Recorded in May 2019, Daihatsu’s total retail sales figure reached 17,486 units, up about 32 percent compared to last year’s 13,216 units.
Meanwhile for the national automotive market, retail sales sales in May 2019 reached around 93,000 units, up about 16 percent compared to last April. When compared with the increase in the market, Daihatsu retail sales experienced a higher increase.
“We are grateful that Daihatsu can still maintain position number 2, and reached a market share for retail around 18.6 percent in May,” said Marketing Director of PT Astra Daihatsu Motor, Amelia Tjandra in her official statement received by Beritasatu.com on Tuesday 6/25/2019).
Daihatsu retail sales in May 2019 were still dominated by Sigra with total sales of 6,163 units (35 percent), followed by Ayla 2,540 units (15 percent) and Xenia 2,533 units (14 percent). Other contributions were contributed by the GranMax Pick up (PU) of 2,512 units (14 percent) and Terios 1,846 units (11 percent).
